Parent peer support is a parent/caregiver or using their lived experience to support others going through similar experiences.
The Special Education Advisory Panel will meet via Zoom on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at
10:00 a.m.. You may access the meeting either online or by phone.
Join this info session to explore how Parent Cafés by Be Strong Families can strengthen families and support your parent outreach efforts.
Participants will learn the importance of disability self-awareness, how families can help youth with career planning, and strategies to navigate resumes, job interviews, and job accommodations.
Families, providers, state agencies, and current parent peer supporters are invited to join in the graduation celebration.
Families and professionals are encouraged to attend the EHDI AC quarterly meeting. Public comments may be shared during the meeting.
