This week Joy Hogge, executive director of Mississippi Families as Allies, sat down for a chat with Wendy Bailey, the newly appointed executive director of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health.
The two discussed the importance of working with families as they deal with the system of care, encouraging peer support within that system, and the opportunities that DMH has to partner with entities such as Families as Allies, including the reestablishment of the Interagency Coordinating Council for Children and Youth (ICCCY).
