#Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to supporting the nonprofit organizations that you care about. #Giving Tuesday kicks off the holiday giving season by inspiring people to collaborate on improving their local communities, and by giving back in helpful and impactful ways to the charities and causes they support. Families as Allies is the only state-wide organization run by and for families of children with behavioral health challenges. We support each other and work together to make things better for our children. Our mission is to make sure that families are partners in their children’s care.
We support families, we support community (all those interacting with families) and we support positive change in the state by bringing all those groups together to help systems and policies be responsive to our children.
Every dollar that you donate helps families support their children in staying in school, doing well at home and having the chance to do the things that all children should have the opportunity to do.
