Mental Health and Well-Being Day at the Capitol on Feb. 11

Please join NAMI Mississippi, the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi, the Association of Mississippi Peer Support Specialists, and Families as Allies for Mental Health and Well-Being Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, Feb 11, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CST. You can register here.

This is a day dedicated to promoting mental health and overall well-being.

Your voice matters. Help shape Mississippi’s mental health system by advocating for early intervention, quality care, and alternatives to involvement with the justice system. Share your lived expertise with legislators and help advance a recovery-oriented system of care for individuals and families across our state.
Nothing about us without us is our guiding principle for the day. No policy or law about behavioral health will ever be as effective as it could be unless the people it affects are at the table from the very beginning. This is a chance to talk with Mississippi lawmakers and network with Mississippi mental health organizations.
WEAR GREEN to support mental health.
