Please join us on March 22, at 1 pm in congratulating our newest class of parent-peer support graduates.
This group focuses on understanding current policy issues and opportunities to serve on decision-making committees.
This presentation will cover the six foundational principles of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Participants will learn about evaluation, FAPE, IEP, LRE, parent and student participation, and procedural safeguards.
We believe parents and caregivers are the experts when it comes to their own family: to make decisions and plans whether it involves the development, safety, education, wellbeing, services, and care for their children.
This presentation will cover the six foundational principles of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), a federal law that gives eligible children with disabilities rights to the specially designed instruction and individualized services and supports they need to benefit from public education.
