March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day, and the theme is With Us Not For Us. We at Families as Allies resonate with that theme and encourage all of you to watch this video that brings home why this message is so important.

March is Women's History Month, and it heartbreakingly began with the death of Judy Heumann, "the mother of the disability movement."
The Mississippi Division of Medicaid published its Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD) Waiver renewal for public comment on February 28, 2023.
Many bills died on February 28 because it was the deadline for Mississippi state legislators to vote bills out of committee.
