On July 16, the Jackson Advocate shared on its Facebook page that the Hinds County Children’s Coalition will host its annual Youth Justice Summit on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Jackson Convention Center (105 E Pascagoula St, Jackson, MS).
The event will feature keynote speaker Xavier McElrath-Bey, a national voice for youth justice reform, along with special guest Honorable Carlyn Hicks and host Maisie Brown, a respected youth advocate.
Attendees can expect power panels, breakout sessions, a talent showcase, door prizes, and more.
