The Hattiesburg Police Athletic League (PAL) will offer a free day camp for children, ages 8 to 12, from June 3 to July 12. The six-week PAL summer camp program offers kids the opportunity to learn new skills; participate in physical activities, like basketball and baseball; and build relationships with their peers and local officers. MDE’s Office of Special Education (OSE) will host the Time is Right Special Education Conference June 19-21, 2024, at the Jackson Hilton. The conference will feature fantastic speakers and breakouts to support anyone who impacts students with disabilities.
