Counselors for Social Justice at Mississippi State University is a vibrant student chapter working to support advocacy and scholarship among counseling students and faculty, the greater student body, and surrounding communities. The chapter is enthusiastically engaged in an array of entirely student-driven advocacy initiatives. The Social Justice Symposium is the chapter’s signature yearly project and is supported by the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Foundations. The event takes place over two days – June 10th and 11th from 9:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Participants can attend any sessions they choose. Free NBCC continuing education credits are offered.
