On Friday, August 15, Families as Allies held a virtual meeting to discuss working together to submit a proposal to the Patient-Centered Outcome Research Institute (PCORI) about how families, youth, researchers, clinicians, policymakers and groups who pay for care can ensure that wraparound research (or research about any mental health support for children) focuses on what families, youth and other partners think is most important. You can watch a recording of that meeting here.
We are having three more virtual meetings so everyone can give input about this opportunity. We want to hear from anyone who works with children and families. Most of all, we want to hear from families and older youth, especially those who are participating in or have participated in wraparound care coordination. We also encourage anyone formally or informally working with children and families in any system or setting to join us.
