DESCRIPTION:Hattiesburg Police Athletic League (HPAL) \n\nThis summer\, Hattiesburg Police Athletic League (HPAL) will host a FREE six-week day camp for kids (ages 8 to 12) to learn new skills\, play games and build relationships with their peers and our officers.\n\n\n\nKids can participate in various sports\, arts and crafts\, and other learning opportunities. DESCRIPTION:City of Jackson \nTo ensure no child goes hungry this summer\, the City of Jackson hosts a Summer Feeding Program for Jackson residents aged 0 to 18. The program will be in operation from June 10th to July 12th and will be available on Mondays\, Wednesdays\, and Fridays. Meals will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. \nLocations: \n\nSmith Robertson Community Center (505 John Hart St.)\nSykes Park Community Center (520 Sykes Rd.)\nWestside Community Center (1450 Wiggins Rd.)\n\nAll meals must be eaten on-site. Jackson Meals Matter\, our city-wide anti-hunger awareness campaign\, will oversee the food giveaway. We’re committed to ensuring every child in the City of Jackson has access to food. \n

Parent peer support specialists\, parent consultants\, parent educators and parents who have completed parent peer support training are strongly encouraged to attend. We will discuss current trends in parent peer support\, national standards for parent peer support\, continuing education opportunities\, local and state issues affecting parent peer support. The group also provides support and coaching for any specific issues participants share. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 12 noon.
