Our vision and mission

Our vision is that all children will have the opportunity to
reach their potential and to be successful. Our mission is to make sure that families are partners in all aspects of their children’s care.

Established in 1990, Families as Allies is the only family-run statewide organization
for parents and caregivers of children with mental health challenges in Mississippi.

We provide a wide array of parent-to-parent support throughout the state.

We advocate for and work towards improving the systems that serve our children.
